Foster
Little Wanderers NYC does not have a physical space to house our rescue animals, so fosters are critical to our organization. We rely on fosters to take their foster into their home, nurture them, love them and make a part of their family until we can find a forever home.
We cover all vetting and medical needs while in foster care, however, we ask that fosters provide food, treats and supplies for their foster animal while in their care.
As a foster, we understand you can become attached to your foster animal and will happily adopt them to you, if you decide you’d like to.
Fostering is a commitment. Animals can be in foster care for a week, a month or multiple months, so please be sure to be prepared to foster until a forever home is found.
